HLA PD Days postponed

Hi everyone,

As you are aware we are currently in the midst of COVID-19 which has thrown all sorts of things into disarray, therefore at this stage we are postponing our PD Days which were scheduled for July 16^th & July 17^th in Brisbane. We are hopeful that we may be able to run these days later in 2020 so stay tuned for updates.

We also know that connecting with each other and continuing to learn and develop professionally in a time such as this is important so we are looking into running some Professional Development sessions “online” on July 16 or July 17^th. More info on this will be released as soon as we firm up details.

We know many health libraries are continuing to provide outstanding services to their clients (both onsite and remotely) in the rapidly changing environment. Keep up the amazing work – continued access to information is vital.

We also know that health librarians have been reaching out to one another to offer encouragement and support – please keep us these collaborative networks as we work as one through the unknown.
